AYT #64: A Stroll Around Noir Ville

This week, Joe dodged a bullet and Erik rants about his deep displeasure for Baz Lahmurnn‘s latest glitzy spectacle, The Great Gatsby. Then it’s on to films actually worth seeing and talking about, as we dive in to the very exciting series at Cinema 21, Return to Noir Ville, which starts this friday and runs for two weeks. There’s a ton of great titles to check out, all in wonderful 35 mm. We’re taking next week off, but we’ll still have bonus content for you.

New episodes of Adjust Your Tracking are released every Thursday, so make sure to come back and check out what Joe and Erik are discussing every week. We’d love to hear your feedback in the comments section, or feel free to email adjustyourtracking@gmail.com or follow us on Twitter @adjustyourtrack. We’re on iTunes now, so make sure to subscribe to the show by clicking the link below. 1. I wouldn’t say Double Indemnity is either hard to follow or summarize…but oh my god how about The Big Sleep? It was like, a running gag in the film industry for years that many people directly involved in the shooting of the film (including the actors) couldn’t agree about what exactly happened (or who killed who and why) when interviewed after the fact. Chandler was reportedly amused by it all.
