Top Down 2013 Cocktail series: Introducing Wyld Stallions

It’s another week of Top Down: Rooftop Cinema at Hotel deLuxe (or atop their parking structure, really), which means it’s time to get ready for another movie-themed cocktail recipe!  Just try and hold yourself steady while sucking down this week’s drink, the formidably named WYLD STALLIONS.  Mix master Mike Robertson of Hotel deLuxe’s Driftwood Room has mingled flavors of lemon, lavender, and thyme in a “most excellent” fashion.  Paired with Thursday’s presentation of BILL AND TED’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, this Farigoule touched drink is the perfect preparation for jumping through thyme (errr…time).

As per usual, here’s the deets about what’s contained in this week’s Top Down 2013 cocktail:

Wyld Stallions
1 1/4 oz. Vodka
3/4 oz. Farigoule
1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 oz. Lavender Simple Syrup
Stir with ice to combine and strain into a glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a lemon wheel pierced through the center by a lavender flower.


Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure screens Thursday, August 15 atop the Hotel deLuxe parking garage.  Doors at 7pm. Music at 8pm. Film at 9pm.  Arrive early, as we’re very likely to sell out.
